Deerfield Editions Deerfield Editions was established in 1997 by the photographer Douglas Petersen to publish limited edition visual books of the highest quality. Beginning with the publication of The Last Light of Day, our books are dedicated presenting beautiful photography, printed with loving attention to detail by the best printers in North America.All of the projects we have seen through to publication have been conceived as book projects from the beginning. We consider the book to be the work of art itself and the ultimate goal of our projects. To this end, it is necessary to incorporate the special requirements of the book form in the work virtually from the beginning. Our belief, that uncompromising quality in book production is the clearest way of expressing the true nature of our photography, informs every step of this process. We hope to share with you some of the qualities which we hold in such high regard. |
